Turkey Day

It is the season for family, friends, food and football.  Winter is on the way in, 2017 is on the way out.  Bring it on.

The Quirk family had a great year. Although a year older, everybody is healthy.  No new family members to report, but, more importantly, no losses either.  Working at U.S. Wealth Management in Braintree has been a great change (thanks to you, my wonderful clients).  Lastly, Ellen and I had a memorable vacation in September to Ireland.  It was our first visit. We visited Dublin, Galway on the western coast, and the Wicklows, a beautiful area in the mountains south of Dublin.  Fantastic scenery, fun people and crazy drivers.

By the time you have read this you will probably have enjoyed a great Thanksgiving dinner… I don’t know why we don’t have turkey more often. I guess that is easy for me to say because I don’t cook. I hope you get a chance to drop in on old friends; surprise them, they will be glad you did.

We may have some menacing weather ahead but let’s face it, as New Englanders, we are used to it.   Before we know it the Red Sox will be in spring training. By the way, I know a number of you guys head south when the weather gets cold.  Give me a call on one of those 85 degree days and rub it in.  The year 2017 was great, 2018 should be even better!

Best Regards,

Ed
